Prediction: You will be Happy with New York Botanical Garden's New Show called Georgia O'Keefe: Visions of Hawaiʻi
The latest exhibit at New York Botanic Garden has been years in the making and you are going to want to see it! The collection of Georgia O 'Keefe paintings of Hawaiʻi is beautifully curated, including both flowers and landscapes of Hawai'i. The plant list for the Hawaiian flower display inside the conservatory includes 300 species! I will be talking about some of these beauties on future blogs. And, here's a hint from a volunteer at the garden: visits on weekdays are good because the garden is less crowded and visits on weekends are good because much of the special programming ( e.g. hula dancing, Hawaiian artisan demonstration) is scheduled then. Bottom line: I recommend that you go!
